Caterina
and Giuditta adhered with generosity to the divine
call and actualized the educative mission with
zeal and courage.
Under the action of the Holy Spirit, following
the example of Jesus Christ, they lived all their
life as an experience of unconditional dedication
to the saving plan of the Father, spending their
lives for the instruction and education of the
young.
The "care of the souls
that our Lord had redeemed with His blood and
has entrusted to their care as a precious treasure"
constituted the center of their educative mission.
Caterina and Giuditta, "as true mothers in
Christ", dedicated themselves totally, committing
all their energy as well as their material possibilities.
They manifested fidelity to this call with an
attentive care to every aspect of the human and
Christian growth of the girls, including the orphans,
in order to contribute everything "to their
spiritual and temporal advantage" and "to
cooperate for the common good", preparing
them adequately to be responsible in their family,
social and ecclesial life.
From the origins of the Institute
the educative mission was expressed in a specific
community dimension in which the sharing of "the
same spirit", living a joyous fraternal simplicity
and being maintained by the fruit of one's own
labor, significantly indicated the following of
Christ.
Called to faithfully preserve
the educative charism, we consider our consecration
as the first and irreplaceable form of apostolate:
the fruitfulness of our apostolic action arises
by means of a convinced and coherent personal
and community witness.
We work for the integral formation
of the person as apostolic educators in different
socio-cultural contexts.
We express the special character of our mission
in the Church with the human promotion and Christian
education above all of the young. Our presence
and dynamic charity in particular situations of
difficulty and suffering renders us capable to
be one with all.
With the help of the Spirit and under the light
of the Word and the magisterium we attentivly
consider the actual state of things and constantly
discern the signs of the time in order to educate
ourselves for the community planning of new projects
of evangelization for current realities. We also
commit ourselves to our professional preparation
and to better qualify ourselves for the realization
of the educative mission.
In a dynamic planning,
capable of valuing other charisms, we collaborate
with different socio-ecclesial realities and share
the educative mission with the laity through systematic
formative programs and significant forms of participation.
